INFORMATION |
Static
electricity which is generated during high speed processing of plastics
can cause:
A) Dust accumulation on plastics end product.
B) Electronic static discharge (ESD) damaging electronic
equipments being packed with such plastic
items.
C) Fire and / or explosion in PE foam films, sheets, pipes,
the additive level depends upon density of foam.
Lower density foam require higher dosage of antistatic
agent Masterbatch to stabilize the weak foamed
cell structure.
Optimum antistatic effect is obtained if relative
humidity is above 45%. |
